AgentOps
Keep production AI agents measurable and controlled.
AgentOps connects test cases, run observation, permissions, failure handling, cost control and explicit ownership.
Audience
For teams operating an agent in production or moving a bounded pilot into an owned operational service.
Inputs and operating picture
- Mandate, expected results and a named accountable person
- Test cases, quality criteria and stop conditions
- Systems, roles, permissions and approval points
- Run traces, known failures, recovery and escalation
- Usage and cost information where the selected systems expose it
Ongoing process
- Evaluate runs against agreed test cases and samples
- Make drift, failures and blocked runs visible
- Recheck permissions and approval points after changes
- Exercise recovery and human takeover
- Control changes to models, prompts, tools and costs
Deliverables and working model
Scope follows risk and run frequency. Possible artefacts include an operating picture, evaluation overview, failure and recovery procedure, change log and prioritised operational work.
Erben Systems does not replace internal accountability. A named person remains responsible for the mandate, approvals and decisions. Documentation and handover to your team are defined in scope.
Internal operating proof
Ava and Adam are internal Erben Systems agents, not a customer reference. Ava supports research and preparation; Adam supports infrastructure and DevOps. Their bounded mandates and human approvals illustrate the methodology, not a customer outcome.
Questions and objections
Is monitoring alone enough?
No. Technical availability says little about result quality. AgentOps connects run data with test cases, operational review, permissions and failure paths.
What happens when a run fails?
The agreed failure path determines whether the run stops, retries or hands over to a person. Critical actions must not continue silently.
Can our team take over operations?
Yes. Ownership, documentation, access and handover criteria are explicit so that ongoing vendor dependence is not required.
